Sylvia Herold (vocals, guitar)

Sylvia has spent her extensive tenure in the Bay Area music scene collecting songs and singing traditional Irish songs and American pop, folk, and jazz. She was a member of the popular swing trio Cats & Jammers and the Hot Club of San Francisco. In addition to Wake the Dead, Sylvia performs with Wakefield Mountain Trio and her jazz combo, the Sylvia Herold Ensemble. Sylvia has recorded five solo albums and many studio collaborations. She is a popular guitar teacher at adult music camps including Puget Sound Guitar Workshop, California Coast Music Camp, British Columbia Swing Camp, and Lark in the Morning.
